Antica Trattoria Al Bosco is a restaurant in Saonara in the heart of the garden centres that characterise the landscape. The restaurant was born in 1740 as an inn and refreshment room, point of reference of the coach drivers, it went on with its activity as a bar-inn with a corner dedicated to the “spuncioni” (snacks), a classic Venetian tradition. In the three comfortable rooms restored with exposed beams or under the wonderful pergola in the Summer among the green, you will be welcomed by the owners Luigino and Stefania Daniele that have been managing this restaurant for 24 years. It still preserves the ancient feeling of the country villa and the owners with their professionalism and kind family hospitality have been able to keep the traditional inn atmosphere and to innovatively propose old recipes of the Veneto region. Special dishes: dried and shredded horse meat, nervetti salad (chopped calf’s gristle) with beans and onion, bigoi with sauce (traditional noodles), fresh noodles with products in season, salt cod in the Veneto style, horse steak, roast rabbit, grilled meat, goose in Friuli style.
